The canvasses are stretched onto hardwood frames and represent the ultimate in canvas art. As well as the highest quality canvas material the frames used are all made from hardwood. Depending on the image chosen the canvasses will either have a wrap-around effect (where the image bends around the corners of the canvas) or a suitable border will be added where the image itself cannot be wrapped-around (for example on images where major elements are situated at the very edges of the composition).
Ready to hang, they are colourfast to 85 years minimum and are finished with a light matt varnish to allow periodic light dusting.

Chris is pleased to introduce 2 new sizes into the canvas range. Hand printed and stretched personally by Chris these 1.25inch deep canvasses are slightly shallower than the 2inch canvasses above but this does not detract from the quality of the finished product. Solid wooden stretcher bars are used to guarantee the highest quality. Available in 24 x 16 inch and 18 x 12 inch, these canvasses are expected to prove extremely popular at exhibitions and on the website.
