The perfect way to improve your photography. Spend a full day in the company of professional landscape photographer Chris Ceaser at his home studio and receive friendly, individual personal image editing tuition that will take your landscape photography to a higher level.
Aimed at beginner/intermediate levels the courses are designed to suit each individual and cover essential editing techniques such as :
Photoshop elements7/8 or CS3/4
adjusting levels, saturation and contrast
making seamless selections for precise editing
using a graphics tablet
using layers for flexible editing
learn how to dodge and burn images for better results
using the clone tool and the healing brush tool
converting images to black and white
resizing images, adding borders
cropping and sharpening the image for print
etc
also.... for those looking to explore the advantages of shooting in RAW format....
Lightroom/Elements7 or 8/ CS3 or CS4
Raw file conversion, taking control of your images
easy steps to alter key aspects such as colour temperature, adjusting exposure, recovering highly exposed areas, adding "fill flash" to shadow areas, adjusting vibrance and saturation etc. In this easy module you will see the true power of shooting RAW.
The content of each day course will depend on the needs/abilities of each individual but everyone should be able to take what they have learned and produce punchier images full of life that print beautifully.
The course content is flexible and therefore suited to photographers of all abilities ranging from competent camera club members to the most humble beginner. The workshops are informal and friendly and include lunch, and as much tea/coffee as you like.
Courses normally run from around 10am and finish with a practical module on the print process where we will print one of your edited images for you to take away. The day ends around 4.30pm.

Course cost:
one-to-one £285
two people sharing £195 each
A non-refundable deposit of £100 will be needed to confirm the booking. Courses cannot, unfortunately, be re-arranged due to Chris' work commitments although in cases of extreme weather (snow, blizzards, etc. when travelling is not possible) then Chris will be happy to re-arrange. If Chris has to cancel for any reason then all monies paid will be refunded, or alternative dates will be offered, whichever suits.
