"From capture to print" Photographic holidays

Chris is pleased to announce these newly revised "very limited" 2 night/3 day residential workshops and BRAND NEW for 2010 are these superb lakeland courses, each with a maximum of just 4 people per course!!!!! Don't miss this unique opportunity to work in a very small group alongside Chris, with lots of expert, personal tuition throughout!!
As well as a relaxing time away with your camera the courses will demonstrate all aspects of the photographic process: image capture, RAW file conversion, editing overview in Photoshop, and how to prepare the final image for print (all using photoshop elements 8, available for £70), (CS4 and lightroom will be used if people have those programs).
Expect to visit locations such as Derwentwater, Ullswater, Blea Tarn, Buttermere etc with plenty of time for discussion and "classroom" based post-capture tuition/editing overviews. A typical day is broken up into around 6-7 hours photography over a dawn and evening session, and 2 hours editing technique overview with your chance to try all the techniques.
On the final day you will be able to select your favourite photograph of the course, which Chris will print out and mount for you to take home.

To ensure your photographic holiday is as relaxing and rewarding as possible you will be staying in your own en-suite room at the exclusive Inn-on-the-Lake situated right on the banks of Lake Ullswater in 15 acres of landscaped gardens with sweeping lawns to the lake shore. As well as the photographic tuition the price includes all breakfasts and 3 course evening meal from the hotel's scrumptious main menu. A little more expensive than the course on the Yorkshire coast, this is due to the cost of the rooms at the Inn-on-the-lake. Once at the hotel, Chris will be using his own car to transport you to the course locations.

Unfortunately no fees will be refundable after the balance has been paid, as other potential clients may have been turned away if the course was fully booked. I would strongly recommend taking out some kind of holiday insurance to cover you against illness etc, which would enable you to recover all or some of the monies paid should you be unable to attend. Companies like AA Travel Insurance can provide cover for up to £5000 for as little as £7
